Rho Omega & Friends, Inc. (ROF) has been uplifting the Shreveport/Bossier and its surrounding community since 1994. The mission of ROF is to uplift and empower the community by providing focused, effective and participatory leadership that improves public policy and enhances the overall education, social and economic status of minorities. We achieve this by coordinating our efforts with other Caddo Parish organizations and focusing our attention on systemic issues that impede our communities from achieving a higher quality of life. The ROF focuses on programmatic initiatives aligned with the theme Four For the Future, which include: Education, Mentoring, Health and Wellness and Economic Empowerment.
ROF is a 501c3 organization that works throughout the year to uplift the community through several programs. Our year round programs include Omega Lamblighters, empowerment seminars and hosting the annual Let The Good Times Roll Festival (LTGTR).
The LTGTR is north Louisiana's largest music festival. Come be a part of the celebration!
The Omega Lamplighters (OLL) is a youth leadership organization for young men ages 12-18 founded by brothers of Omega Psi Phi. The program's principles of Leadership, Academics, Maturity, and Perseverance.
Women’s Empowerment educates and empowers women, who are homeless, with the skills and confidence necessary to secure a job, create a healthy lifestyle, and regain a home for themselves and their children.
